The series capacitor is composed of a core, a shell, and an outlet porcelain sleeve. The two sides of the box wall are welded with hanging brackets for installation, and one side hanging bracket is equipped with a grounding bolt. The core of the capacitor is composed of several components and insulators. In order to adapt to various voltages, the core is composed of several small components connected in parallel and then connected in series. The capacitor is equipped with a discharge resistor, and the outer shell is formed by welding of stainless steel plates.
High-voltage series capacitors are connected in series in a 50Hz or 60Hz AC power system to compensate for the inductive reactance of the power line, reduce line voltage drop, increase transmission capacity, and improve line stability.

3.6 Partial discharge level: the extinguishing voltage is not less than 1.5Un, and each capacitor is tested for partial discharge during the factory test.
